The majority of the programme runs as live-online sessions (with recorded access) and self-paced study, which you complete from wherever you are. You attend the Kochi campus only during the designated practical block — typically around four weeks — which you can plan around annual leave or a short visit home. Many of our Gulf-based learners arrange this block to coincide with a family visit.
Yes — one dedicated module covers industrial and energy logistics, including project freight, heavy-lift cargo, MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) inventory management and HSE requirements specific to industrial sites. The broader curriculum is equally applicable to oil & gas supply chains, manufacturing facilities and port operations, not only retail or e-commerce logistics.
Graduates receive the SMIC Certificate in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The curriculum is aligned to recognised industry frameworks — including the APICS/CSCP body of knowledge and Incoterms 2020 — which gives the credential practical credibility with employers. No prior logistics experience is required. The programme begins with foundational concepts and progressively builds to advanced supply-chain planning and digital tools.
